The event happens in August and is telecasted during Onam days.   We organised an event titled Malayali manka in 2004 and the title winner was Ms. Parvathy who got into as heroine in Roshan Andrew's film "Notebook."............. Sathyan Anthikkad film "Vinodayathra " ........... . Tamil movie "Poovu" ... and now she is flying high.   In 2005 the title winner was Ms. Parvathy Omanakkuttan. Later she won the title "Navy Queen 2006", Vanitha photoqueen 2007......Miss India 2008... and Miss World 2008 1st Runnerup.
